About the cell:

As per the UGC guidelines the “career and counselling support that an institution offers to its students makes tem confident to perform better. Counselling thus addresses both the academic and career concern and opportunities. The inclusion of guidance about market patterns and employability can help the institution in building a base for the students…”

Taking this issue seriously, IQAC established a Career Counselling & Placement Committee in the academic session 2019-17. A career counselling committee is working towards organizing interactive sessions on the issue of probable upcoming career options.

Goals of the Career Counselling & Placement Cell:

The primary goals of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell are:

  • To support students with their overall development, course selection, and career choices.
  • To help the students to establish a linkage with the world of work and local career opportunities in the highly competitive professional domain.
  • To developing adaptability to new problems.
  • To maximise the use of time spent outside the classroom.
  • To recognise deficiencies.
