The Interactive Programme for the students on Gender-Sensitisation.
The meeting of ICC was held on 20th January, 2024 at 12 noon at the chamber of the Principal. In the presence of the external member, Ms. Debjani Ghosh, an advocate by profession and the leading personality behind Aloke Foundation ( NGO working with the acid victims), the members discussed the present status of the initiatives and infrastructure of ICC at our college. The Meeting was followed by an interactive session with the students on the issue of the rights and privileges granted by the Honourable Supreme Court of India through enacting the PoSH Act of 2013. Ms. Deepanjana Sarkar, working with Accenture as a Senior manager in the knowledge and development sector, enlightened the students with the situation in reality. Both the resource persons were encouraging the students to come up with suggestions from their real life experiences. The session was an interesting one through conversations, suggestions, problem-solving strategies and awareness incentives.
